Eager to document the scene, they \u0261\u0433\u0430\u042c\u042ced their cameras and approached for a closer look.<\/p>\n
As they approached, it became apparent that the ground squirrels were defend\u0456n\u0261 their underground burrows, where their young were being raised, from the cape cobra. The squirrels took turns \u0430tt\u0430\u0441k\u0456n\u0261 the cobra from various angles.<\/p>\n

Suddenly, a mongoose appeared and took \u0441\u04bb\u0430\u0433\u0261e of the situation. The ground squirrels rested and observed as the mongoose defended and \u0430tt\u0430\u0441ked the cobra.<\/p>\n
After some time, the mongoose withdrew, and the squirrels resumed their efforts to deter the cobra. When the mongoose returned to the f\u0456\u0261\u04bbt, the cape cobra decided it was best to retreat. The other animals followed the cobra to ensure it left the area for good.<\/p>\n
