ndless Summer Syndrome is a French-language psychological drama film directed by Kaveh Daneshmand. The film unfolds over a late summer weekend, focusing on Delphine (Sophie Colon), a lawyer and mother of two adopted children. Her peaceful family retreat in a rural French commune is disrupted when she receives an anonymous call alleging that her husband, Antoine (Mathéo Capelli), has confessed to having an affair with one of their children at a drunken party.

Rather than face the accusation immediately, Delphine chooses to observe her family discreetly, searching for evidence to confirm or dispel her fears. This decision paves the way for a tense exploration of trust, secrecy, and the fragility of family relationships.

As Delphine’s observations increase, she becomes increasingly suspicious of her daughter Adia (Frédérika Milano). However, the truth takes an unexpected turn, revealing a betrayal involving her son Aslan (Gem Deger), who also co-wrote the film. The story delves into the complexities of human relationships, examining how unspoken truths can erode the foundations of a family.

The film’s stark depiction of a taboo subject is complemented by intimate cinematography and a haunting soundtrack, creating an atmosphere that is both oppressive and heartbreaking. Endless Summer Syndrome is a compelling character study that challenges perceptions of morality and the boundaries of familial love.
