“Rogue” (2013)

Rogue is a police drama television series created by Matthew Parkhill and starring Thandiwe Newton. It is a Canadian, British, and American co-production, co-produced by DirecTV’s Audience Network and Canadian premium services The Movie Network and Movie Central.
Grace Travis begins as a San Jose cop working undercover in Oakland to take down Jimmy Laszlo’s criminal organization. After Grace’s son is murdered, she and Jimmy discover they have a common goal.
In the second season, Grace takes a new job as the point person for an FBI task force investigating corporate espionage in San Francisco. When a female undercover agent goes missing, Grace is forced to go undercover, where she meets Ethan, a charming and mysterious security consultant who may be responsible for the agent’s disappearance, or even death.
In season three, Grace believes Ethan is the key to her survival and heads to Chicago. There, Ethan infiltrates the firm of notorious lawyer and power broker Marty Stein, whose connections reportedly extend to one of Chicago’s most feared gangs. Meanwhile, Ethan meets Marlon Dinard, a respected, upscale shop owner who seems to have more to him than meets the eye.
Ethan tracks him down and his half-sister Talia. When a reporter who nearly uncovered the truth behind Marty’s empire is murdered, federal agent Harper Deakins investigates his death. Grace and Ethan team up to take down her son’s killers and put Ethan under their control. A sinister conspiracy connecting white-collar boardrooms to Chicago’s gangs is finally exposed.
