The Predator (2018) is a 2018 American science fiction action film directed by Shane Black and the fourth installment in the Predator series. The film is a sequel to Predator (1987), Predator 2 (1990), and Predators (2010). The film brings back the iconic alien hunters who terrorized Earth and other planets, this time with a new and dangerous twist.

Plot Summary:
The story begins when Quinn McKenna (Boyd Holbrook), a former Army Ranger, encounters a Predator on a secret mission. He steals some Predator technology and sends it to his estranged son, Rory (Jacob Tremblay), inadvertently making his son a target for the aliens. When the Predators return to Earth, they evolve into more deadly versions of themselves by upgrading their DNA with traits from other species.

McKenna teams up with a group of veterans and a scientist named Dr. Casey Bracket (played by Olivia Munn) to stop a new, more dangerous breed of Predator from wiping out humanity. They also have to deal with a government conspiracy that is trying to exploit Predator technology for military gain.
