The adventure continues in Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters (2013), the thrilling sequel to Percy Jackson & The Olympians: The Lightning Thief. Based on Rick Riordan’s bestselling novel, the film follows Percy Jackson (Logan Lerman), the demigod son of Poseidon, as he embarks on a dangerous quest to save Camp Half-Blood from destruction.
The movie begins with Camp Half-Blood under threat—its magical borders, once protected by the Golden Fleece, have been weakened, leaving the demigod sanctuary vulnerable to attacks. When Percy learns that the only way to restore the protective barrier is to retrieve the legendary Golden Fleece, he sets out on a perilous journey with his friends Annabeth (Alexandra Daddario), Grover (Brandon T. Jackson), and his newfound half-brother, Tyson, a kind-hearted Cyclops.
Their quest takes them into the depths of the Bermuda Triangle, also known as the Sea of Monsters, where they must battle terrifying mythical creatures, treacherous waters, and the sinister forces working against them. Along the way, they face Luke Castellan (Jake Abel),
a rogue demigod seeking to resurrect the Titan Kronos and overthrow the Olympian gods. As Percy struggles with self-doubt and the weight of his destiny, he must find the courage to embrace his heroic nature and protect the world from an impending disaster.
