The Guardsmen (2024) Official Trailer

The Guardsmen (2024) is a Western film that chronicles the efforts of Oklahoma’s renowned lawmen—Heck Thomas (Thom Hallum), Chris Madsen (Blaine Hall), and Bill Tilghman (Tom Zembrod)—as they strive to cleanse the territory of notorious outlaws threatening the American way of life.
Set against the rugged backdrop of the American frontier, the narrative delves into their relentless pursuit of the infamous Wild Bunch gang, focusing particularly on the elusive leader, Bill Doolin (Carl Rhonin).
The film intensifies as the Guardsmen close in on Doolin, only to be ambushed by the Dunn brothers, mercenaries hired to protect the outlaw leader. This confrontation results in a devastating gunfight, leaving Heck Thomas and Bill Tilghman dead, and Chris Madsen severely wounded. Madsen’s survival is ensured by the unexpected aid of small-time outlaws, Cattle Annie (Emma Lord) and Little Britches (Colleen Elizabeth Miller), who nurse him back to health.
Fueled by a desire for justice and vengeance, Madsen defies the new policy of capturing outlaws alive, opting instead for a more lethal approach. The film portrays his solitary quest to avenge his fallen comrades and restore order to the lawless territory, highlighting themes of duty, sacrifice, and the blurred lines between lawmen and outlaws in the unforgiving landscape of the Old West
